Clara “Faye” Wehrly, 96, of Pierceton, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at her residence.

Clara was born in Carthage, Ind., to Lewis and Lillie (Thomas) Donoho. She was united in marriage to Forrest Everett Wehrly on June 3, 1974, in Winona Lake.

She was a homemaker and loved traveling across the USA. She collected pigs and magnets and loved her cats.

Clara will be lovingly remembered by her children, Brenda Mellott, of Warsaw, Lewis Ersland, of Indianapolis, and Robert Ersland, of Pireceton. Also surviving are two grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents; her husband; a son, Hugh Hutchens; and two brothers.

A graveside funeral service in celebration of Clara’s life will begin at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, with Pastor Larry Burkhart officiating.
