E. Wayne (“E.W.”) Jernigan, 80, North Webster, died Saturday, March 18, 2023.

He was born on Aug. 30, 1942. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Maria Victoria (“Vicky”) Jernigan.

He also is survived by a stepdaughter, Tasia (Kenton) Shepherd; stepson, Michael Espinoza; two daughters of his first marriage, Stephanie (Jeff) Surfus and Joseanne (Don) Nyce; four step-grandchildren; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, William Jernigan and Don Jernigan; and sister, Sara (Rick) Edgar.

Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center, Ligonier, is handling arrangements.
