Birdie Mae Eizinger, 79, Columbia City, died at 3:39 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

She was born April 13, 1943. On May 15, 1965, she married Gene Ousley, who preceded her in death in 1998. On Dec. 9, 2006, she married Harold Arthur Eizinger, who survives.

She also is survived by her daughters, Sandy (Scott) Rindfuss, Michigan, and Deborah (Ronald) Whited, Georgia; a stepdaughter, Valerie Constantine, Kendallville; and sisters, Ellen (Gary) Thornsbury and Lona Hyden, both of Warsaw, and Loujean Flannery and Edie Faye Brown, both of Prestonburg, Ky.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
