Winona Powder Coating Invests In E-Coat Conveyor
News Release
ETNA GREEN — Winona Powder Coating Inc. has installed a new conveyor system to improve efficiency and lead times on its e-coat line.
“This major capital project automates the transfer of racked parts from the racking operation to the e-coat line,” said Winona Powder Coating CEO Jamie Visker in a news release. “Once the parts are coated and cured, it automatically extracts the parts/racks from the line and transfers them to an un-rack and packing station.”
The conveyor eliminates manual movement of racks, along with floor racks themselves, and it paces the line to improve overall efficiency, according to Visker.
The project completes the e-coat line installation the company began in 2019.
Winona Powder Coating, headquartered in Etna Green, provides powder coating and e-coat services to a wide range of industries. The company also operates a facility in Elkhart.
