Fort Wayne Teenager Sentenced For April 2022 Murder

FORT WAYNE — A 16-year old Fort Wayne teenager was recently sentenced in Allen County after shooting and killing a man during an incident involving the sale of vapes.
Aung S. Oo, 16, Fort Wayne, was sentenced for felony murder on Monday, March 27, in Allen County. Three additional criminal charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
Oo was sentenced to 65 years in the Indiana Department of Correction, and has 353 days of jail time credit in the case.
Oo’s co-defendant, Swar Hit, 17, Fort Wayne, has pled guilty to robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, a level 2 felony. Hit will be sentenced on Monday, April 24.
On April 6, 2022, Fort Wayne Police officers responded to a report of an unresponsive person at New Covenant Church. Officers found the body of Luke Borror, 21, Fort Wayne, and determined he was shot.
According to court documents, Borror was at the church to sell nicotine vapes to Oo and Hit. Video surveillance from the church showed Hit and Borror fighting over a backpack containing the vapes. Oo then shot Borror and both Oo and Hit fled the scene.
