Chance Of Severe Thunderstorms, Windy Conditions This Weekend

WARSAW — Severe thunderstorms and windy conditions are expected for Friday, March 31, and Saturday, April 1.
Some storms during the evening and night hours for Friday could be severe, with damaging winds. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch are possible.
According to the National Weather Service of Northern Indiana, there is a 40% chance of showers between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday. Wind gusts will be as high as 45 mph.
Sunday, April 2, will be clear and sunny with temperatures in the lower 50s.
Rain returns to the forecast early next week.
A Wind Advisory is also in effect for Kosciusko County and surrounding areas from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 1. West winds to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are possible during that time. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
