PIERCETON — Despite cold, rainy weather on Saturday, April 1, kids still got to hunt eggs at Harvest Community Church.
They just did it inside the Pierceton church building instead of outside.
The hunt was one part of the Easter activities Saturday. Children also made crafts, with Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church of Warsaw partnering with HCC for those.
A few adults and kids won prizes through drawings, and those who located special eggs in the hunt got cash in addition to the goodies in the regular eggs.
One of the church’s pastors, Eric Trump, said the hunt was opened up to the community for “the last four or five years.”
He said people would be welcome to come again to the hunt next year.
