Loren D. Troyer, 84, Nappanee, died at 1:12 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born Feb. 9, 1939. On Dec. 16, 1961, he married Erma M. Slabaugh, who survives.

He also is survived by his children, Nelda (Ron) Bedward, Nappanee, Wendall (Shirley) Troyer, Milford, and Brad (Elizabeth) Troyer, Elkhart; five grandchildren; brothers, Jonas (Betty) Troyer, Ohio, and Raymond (Roxanne) Troyer, Ohio; sisters, Miriam (Mose) Gingerich, North Carolina, Margaret (Elton) Miller, Ohio, and Betty (Perry) Miller, Ohio; and sister-in-law, Nancy Troyer, Pennsylvania.
