Richard R. Klase, 88, Middlebury, died at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born Sept. 11, 1934. On April 1, 1978, he married Linda Lee (Christian) Klase, who preceded him in death in 2012.

He is survived by sons, Richard A. (Rita) Klase, Atwood, and Dale (Donna) Klase, New Paris; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
