Foundation Grant Helps Albion Sanctuary Plan For The Future
Press Release
ALBION — The Dekko Foundation, located in Kendallville, has awarded a $4,800 grant toward Black Pine Animal Sanctuary’s strategic planning project.
“Having a strategic plan in place will enable us to track progress toward our goals,” said Black Pine Animal Sanctuary Executive Director Trish Nichols. “From staff and board members to volunteers, everyone will be able to better understand the sanctuary’s larger strategy, and that will directly impact our success.”
The goal is to create a five-year strategic plan that specifies strategies and assessment measures for:
- developed budget and fundraising goals
- enhanced program offerings that are mission-based and based on experiential learning
- board member roles, responsibilities, and bylaws revision.
Fort Wayne-based 3 Point Fundraising Consulting LLC has been contracted to work with Black Pine Animal Sanctuary to create their new strategic plan.
