MENTONE — The Mentone United Methodist Church invites the public to join church members as they participate in the National Day of Prayer at 7 a.m. Thursday, May 4.

The church’s Breakthrough Prayer Group is hosting the event, which will be a time of prayer around the Big Egg in the parking lot next to the church, located at 116 E. Main St., Mentone.

If the weather is bad, worshippers will meet in the church fellowship hall.
