Current High School Grads Have Chance For Free Tuition At Ivy Tech

FORT WAYNE — Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne and Warsaw is inviting 2023 high school graduates to apply for the Mark M. Suedhoff Endowed Scholarship – Chancellor’s Merit Award before Friday, May 19.
“This award is designed to recognize and aid our hardworking, incoming students as they continue to pursue their education,” says Kim Barnett-Johnson, chancellor of Ivy Tech Fort Wayne and Warsaw. “The scholarship makes our students’ dreams more attainable, and we’re thrilled to be able to extend this opportunity to two students each year.”
Two students who are seeking an associate degree for the first time have the chance to receive a full-ride scholarship to Ivy Tech that covers the cost of tuition, books and fees. The application is a one-page essay explaining why the student chose Ivy Tech and how this award will help them pursue their education.
To be eligible, students must also: apply to Ivy Tech before submitting their scholarship application; be graduating high school in 2023; maintain a 3.0 GPA upon high school graduation; be enrolled at Ivy Tech for a minimum of 12 credit hours during both the fall and spring semesters.
