NAPPANEE — First responders were requested at approximately 10:30 a.m. to a location approximately five miles south of Nappanee in Kosciusko County.

The two vehicle accident involved a utility truck and Amish buggy occurred on CR 800W between CR 850N and CR 900N.

Reports at the scene indicated both vehicles were traveling north on CR 800W when the collision occurred.  Southbound traffic was being diverted on to State Road 19 while northbound traffic was directed onto CR 850N.

The accident is being investigated by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office. Indiana State Police, Lutheran EMS, the Nappanee Police Department and Nappanee Fire and EMS also responded to the scene.

The collision occurred in the northbound lanes just north of Mt. Tabor Church in Kosciusko County.
