Officers with the Mentone Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 8:30 a.m. Friday, May 12, Mentone. Drivers: Harlan L. Zimmerman, 55, West CR 800S, Akron; and Emma K. Craig, 21, East CR 500N, Mentone. Zimmerman’s and Craig’s vehicles collided. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 12:41 p.m. Friday, May 12, East Jefferson Street and McKinley Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Tyrelle D. Hunt, 28, Anchorage Road, Warsaw; and Britni L. Hiatt Busz, 24, EMS T15B Lane, Leesburg. Hunt thought an intersection had a four-way stop. He continued into the intersection, and his vehicle hit Hiatt Busz’s. Damage up to $5,000.
• 12:25 p.m. Friday, May 12, SR 15 and East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Corrin M. Gutwein, 36, East Wildwood Drive, Warsaw; and Heidi S. Ulloa, 25, Sue Avenue, Warsaw. Gutwein said she accidentally placed her vehicle in reverse, which backed into Ulloa’s. Damage up to $5,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 10:17 a.m. Thursday, May 11, Ninth Street, west of Sunday Lane, Winona Lake. Driver: David Besson, 69, Marilyn Avenue, Winona Lake. Besson said he was traveling up the hill when he became dizzy and didn’t remember what happened next until his vehicle was on its side. Police observed from tire tracks that the vehicle appeared to hit a large rock before it turned onto its side. Besson was checked out by medics and transported to the hospital by his wife, Damage up to $5,000.
