Mystic Waters Campground now open to the public.

PENDLETON — Madison County Officials attended a ribbon cutting Friday, May 12 at Mystic Waters, the 38-acre campground destination located in Pendleton.

Lisa Holverson said in a news release, “Our vision was to turn this property into a stellar family campground based on our love for the great outdoors. We have brought to life to a property with so much potential. We hope that local residents can be proud of their new gateway to Pendleton.”

Holverson also told of the family- friendly activities that will be part of the campgrounds including kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and yoga.

The space is also functional for events such as weddings and scheduled retreats with its two large-sized buildings to accommodate those with these large-scale events.
