Warsaw Residents Asked Not To Leave Grass Clippings In Street
News Release
WARSAW — The city of Warsaw is reminding residents to keep grass clippings off the street.
Grass clippings left in the street can clog storm drains and cause flooding when it rains. The clippings also can be dangerous for motorcyclists, the city says.
The city’s Public Works Department, 794 W. Center St., is still giving away free lawn bags to residents. You can fill the lawn bags with yard waste, such as grass clippings, and place them at your trash pickup site, where the city will pick them up.
