Details Released On Warsaw Community High School’s June 2 Commencement
News Release
WARSAW — The commencement ceremony for the Class of 2023 at Warsaw Community High School will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, June 2, at the Tiger Athletic Complex on Fisher Field. Rain dates, if necessary, have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3, and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 4.
Warsaw Community High School wants every family to hear their graduate’s name and witness them receiving their diploma. The school requests everyone’s cooperation in promoting a positive experience everyone can enjoy. All attendees must remain seated in their assigned bleacher areas until dismissal, allowing the graduates to exit.
Each senior is eligible to receive eight tickets per family for the ceremony. All individuals, including children, must have a ticket to access the entrance of the high school parking lot and Tiger Athletic Complex. Tickets will not be available at the entry gate. The facility will open to guests at 6 p.m.
Regarding parking, those attending should be aware that the C lot, which is closest to Fisher Field, has experienced a considerable reduction in available spaces because of ongoing construction. As a result, the high school can offer only first-come, first-served parking in that area for vehicles with a handicapped sticker. However, there will be additional parking behind the T-RAC (former tennis courts) to accommodate the anticipated crowd. To optimize parking availability, attendees are encouraged to carpool.
Graduates and attendees are encouraged to stay hydrated before the event. Water bottles will be allowed during the ceremony and will also be available for purchase at the concession stand, along with small snacks.
The faculty, administrators and the Warsaw Community Schools Board of School Trustees will honor the Class of 2023 by participating in the commencement ceremony.
