St. Francis Xavier In Pierceton To Host 40 Hours Devotion

PIERCETON — St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Pierceton, will host a 40 Hours Devotion from Sunday, June 4, to Tuesday, June 6.
June 4 marks the beginning of the event with Masses celebrated at 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m., followed by “Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament Adoration,” light refreshments and a benediction at noon.
The next two days will each begin with Mass at 8 a.m., followed by several hours of prayer surrounding the Eucharist, light refreshments, talks about the Blessed Sacrament and a benediction.
On June 5, Monsignor Robert C. Schultz will talk about the Holy Eucharist as an “Authentic Meal of Love.” On June 6, the Rev. Glenn J. Kohrman’s topic about Eucharistic food is titled “Be What You Can See and Receive What You Are.”
