WARSAW — Located behind Warsaw’s Kohl’s shopping center, Northwest Townhomes, owned by Becky and Frank Levinson, will be continuing construction through the summer.
While they have been very involved in investment real estate across the United States, Becky explained that their deep ties to Warsaw and the lakes area is what brought them to build here. Previously located in Virginia, they decided to move here to pursue this opportunity.
Becky said she and Frank have been coming to the area in the summers ever since their marriage, with Frank visiting since he was a child. The Levinsons love the area and all it has to offer, but found that there was an obvious lack in housing.
Hoping to help and give back to the community, they are bringing more housing to the area with the help of their contractor, John Kidd of R.W Kidd Construction, who was very influential throughout this project.
“This brings another housing option into the area that I have not seen, providing a larger space for families and/or young business professionals,” said Becky.
They are hoping that leasing for the first building will be able to start in August, with move-ins in September; however, that could be subject to change depending on construction.
Currently, the range of rent per month is based anywhere from $1,700 to $2,300. Becky said there are a lot of factors that go into this pricing so they want to make sure they get all the information they can before setting an exact amount. She stressed that in doing this, they want to be fair and good to their tenants.
