Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 10:39 p.m. Sunday, May 28, West CR 900N, west of North CR 425E, Leesburg. Driver: Megan S. Mikel, 18, West CR 850N, Etna Green. Mikel’s vehicle left the roadway and hit a utility pole. Damage up to $10,000.
• 7:38 p.m. Saturday, May 27, East Cornelius Road, west of North Pleasant Grove Road, Syracuse. Drivers: Dawson R. Miller, 17, West CR 1050N, Nappanee; and Christina L. Morrow, 17, North Village Drive, Leesburg. Miller’s vehicle rear-ended Morrow’s. Damage up to $10,000.
• 8:53 a.m. Saturday, May 27, North CR 700W, north of West Crystal Lake Road, Warsaw. Driver: Teresa L. Lambert, 57, West Corly Lane, Silver Lake. Lambert’s vehicle left the roadway and hit a utility pole. Damage up to $25,000.
• 6:50 p.m. Thursday, May 25, East US 30, west of East Van Ness Road, Pierceton. Driver: Bradley A. Caywood, 52, Slate Ridge Court, Fort Wayne. Caywood’s vehicle left the roadway and hit a wooden post. Caywood left the scene of the accident but was later located by a KCSO deputy. Caywood was checked for chest pain at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital and was later arrested for leaving the scene and allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Damage up to $10,000.

Milford

Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 3:51 p.m. Saturday, May 27, an alleyway north of West Emeline Street, Milford. Drivers: Brandi D. Schuh, 39, South West Street, Milford; and Jessica M. Reid, 32, North CR 200W, Alexandria. Schuh was backing her vehicle from a driveway when she hit Reid’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 11:46 a.m. Sunday, May 28, Jalynn Street, south of North SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Ronnie R. Young, 52, North Deer Run, Warsaw; and Marilyn L. Canter, 77, Church Hill Downs Drive 9, Warsaw. Young was turning his vehicle to exit a parking lot when he hit Canter’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
• 11:04 a.m. Saturday, May 27, South County Farm Road, south of West CR 200S, Warsaw. Drivers: Trent D. Stamper, 39, Shaffer Road, Warsaw; and Kathy A. Miles, 63, Chickadee Lane, Warsaw. A kayak from Stamper’s vehicle fell off and hit Miles’ vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
• 1:46 p.m. Friday, May 26, 1100 W. Winona Ave., Warsaw. Driver: Christopher K. Hodges, 24, West Osprey Drive, Mentone. Hodges was resisting arrest on a motorcycle when his vehicle left the roadway and hit supports holding multiple mailboxes. He attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended by officers. Osprey was taken to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital for minor facial and arm injuries; he was later arrested. Damage up to $25,000.
