Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 6:29 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, West SR 14, east of South CR 100W, Warsaw. Drivers: Robert G. Nichter, 45, Leedy Street, Warsaw; and Donald E. Snyder, 68, West Cortland Drive, Silver Lake. Nichter was attempting to leave a private drive when he hit Snyder’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
• 5:29 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, West CR 400N, west of West Wallace Road, Warsaw. Driver: Lucas A. Schwartz, 19, North CR 600W, Warsaw. Schwartz’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 10:31 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, South SR 19, north of West CR 900S, Mentone. Driver: Ricky A. Hisey, 62, North Macy Millark Road, Macy. Hisey’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, West US 30, near North CR 150W, Warsaw. Drivers: Samuel F. Popa, 17, Highway 39, Verona, Mo.; and Anthony J. Hendley, 40, Suray Avenue, Jacksonville, Fla. Popa’s vehicle rear-ended Hendley’s. Damage up to $50,000.
• 1:26 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, SR 15, south of West Gilliam Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Jason M. Isley, 48, North Perch Drive, Silver Lake; and Jeffrey D. Kartholl, 31, Saint Joe Road 519, Fort Wayne. Isley’s vehicle rear-ended Kartholl’s. Isley complained of shoulder and upper arm pain but refused treatment at the scene. Kartholl was taken to Parkview Hospital in Warsaw for neck pain. Damage up to $10,000.
• 8:02 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2495 Jalynn St., Warsaw. Driver: Charles L. Ivey, 34, Grasshopper Road, Georgetown, Tenn. Ivey’s vehicle rear-ended a parked, unoccupied trailer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 12:44 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2920 Frontage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Gary L. Austin, 79, Sunset Drive 10, Winona Lake; and Carly E. Morales, 35, Fisher Avenue, Warsaw. Austin had a medical episode while in a restaurant drive-thru, resulting in his vehicle hitting an overhead sign post and then hitting Morales’ vehicle. Austin was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. Damage up to $10,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 10:12 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, East US 30, east of South CR 275E, Warsaw. Driver: John B. Washko, 64, Ferson Creek Road, Saint Charles, Ill. Washko’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
