Curtis Hill Eyes Indiana Governor’s Race

INDIANAPOLIS — Former Indiana Attorney General and Elkhart County Prosecutor Curtis Hill is considering joining the Republican governor’s race in 2024.
He built a following among social conservatives during his time in office. However his reelection bid was derailed by allegations he drunkenly groped four women during a party.
The governor’s race could be an expensive fight. U.S. Sen. Mike Braun, Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch and Fort Wayne businessman Eric Doden are already vying for the position. and reportedly have campaign bank accounts over $3 million.
An announcement is expected in the coming weeks by Hill with a statement provided by his political advising firm.
Hill, 62, won election as state attorney general in 2016 after 14 years as prosecutor in Elkhart County. He was seen as a rising African American star among Republicans. He anti-abortion and tough-on-crime.
