WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested after an alleged battery.
Seth Douglass Castleman, 21, 478 Clinic Court, Warsaw, is charged with strangulation and battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, both level 6 felonies; and battery, a class A misdemeanor.
On May 24, a Warsaw Police officer responded to a fight in progress. A man said he was hanging out with a woman when Castleman attacked him and placed his arm around his neck.
According to court documents, Castleman told the officer he and the woman had an agreement that no one else was allowed in the home unless Castleman was home.
When the man refused to leave, Castleman allegedly said he grabbed the man’s shirt.
The man’s injuries included red marks on his throat and chin, rug burn marks on his left knee, and hemorrhaging to his left eye, which is often caused by strangulation.
Castleman has already been arrested and released on bond.
