Rochester Woman Involved In Severe Crash

FULTON COUNTY — At approximately 3:17 p.m. Saturday, June 24, emergency personnel were dispatched to area of CR 50N and CR 200W for a single vehicle crash with personal injury. When deputies arrived, they observed a single vehicle off the east side of the roadway.
Preliminary investigation by Deputy Ryan Utter with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office revealed a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Kyla Ellinger, 23, Rochester, was traveling South on CR 200W. For an unknown reason, the vehicle then rolled several times and Ellinger was ejected during the crash. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle and treated by emergency personnel on scene before being flown by Lutheran Air to a trauma center. Ellinger’s current condition is unknown. She was not wearing her seat belt at the time of crash and speed and alcohol are suspected factors in the crash.
Assisting the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office at the scene were the Rochester Fire Department and Lutheran EMS and Air.
