WARSAW — Two people are facing charges for allegedly stealing a vehicle from the Warsaw area.
Raven Ski Jackson, 19, 6663 W. 500S, Mentone; and Jeffery Lee Owsley, 30, Mishawaka, are each charged with theft, a level 6 felony.
On June 8, a Warsaw Police officer responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. A woman said a 2018 orange Chevrolet Equinox was stolen from her residence while she was asleep.
According to court documents, the woman said she believed Jackson and Owsley stole the vehicle. Jackson later contacted the woman and said Owsley would return the vehicle. About six hours after Jackson contacted the woman, the vehicle had not been returned.
On June 10, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy was alerted to the stolen vehicle being in the Palestine area.
