New Indiana Laws Set To Take Effect This Weekend

INDIANAPOLIS — The State of Indiana will have numerous new laws take effect this weekend.
One of the main laws to take effect that will impact Hoosiers is adding cameras to catch people speeding through work zones.
Indiana’s law preventing teachers from discussing sexuality in kindergarten to third grade is currently being challenged.
There are a number of different social issues currently being sorted out in the courts.
One of the big issues currently being worked out are laws that impact peoples’ autonomy over their bodies.
Access to abortions, prescribing hormonal birth control and the rights of minors who identify as transsexual have also been issues for the courts.
