Free Community Dinner Marks 10 Years, Offers Meal In Pierceton July 20

PIERCETON — The committee for the Free Community Dinner in Pierceton is marking the 10th anniversary of serving the free meal to the people of Pierceton and the surrounding area.
The Free Community Dinner ministry started small a decade ago and now serves nearly 200 free meals every other month.
The next Free Community Dinner will start at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 20, at the parish hall of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 408 W. Catholic St., Pierceton.
The dinner will continue to follow a drive-thru format. On the menu are grilled hamburgers, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, fruit and cookies.
The meal is free, but donations are gratefully accepted.
