Lambert Arrested For Drug Dealing

WARSAW — A Silver Lake woman was recently arrested on multiple drug charges.
Teresa Lavone Lambert, 57, 5153 W. Corlys Lane, Silver Lake, is charged with dealing a narcotic drug and dealing in a schedule I, II or III controlled substance, both level 2 felonies; possession of a narcotic drug, a level 3 felony; possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance with enhancing circumstances, both level 6 felonies; possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; and possession of methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, a level 5 felony.
On June 28, a Warsaw Police officer went to a local gas station and saw a woman sleeping in a parked vehicle. The officer identified the vehicle’s driver as Lambert.
According to court documents, upon discovering Lambert had previously been arrested for dealing drugs in November 2014, Lambert admitted to spending time in prison due to heroin use.
Upon searching Lambert’s vehicle, the officer found drug paraphernalia, 2.3 grams of meth, and about 168 grams of pills and narcotic drugs.
Lambert told the officer she was taking the drug paraphernalia home to use meth. She also said she made between $1,500 and $2,000 a month by selling pills.
Lambert was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on June 28, with a $50,250 surety and cash bond.
