Rachel L. Purdy, 87, Wabash, died at 1:06 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Parkview Wabash Hospital.

She was born Dec. 8, 1935. On Aug. 19, 1953, she married Lawrence Marvin Purdy, who survives.

She also is survived by two children, Jeni (Denny) Tomson and Nick (Donna) Purdy, both of Wabash; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
