Benjamin R. Stogsdill
Benjamin Ryan Stogsdill passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the age of 36. He was born on June 2, 1987, in Warsaw.
In addition to Ben’s mother, Laura Beno, of Warsaw, and father, Donald Stogsdill, of Tippecanoe, he is survived by his fiancée, Whitney Irwin, and their four precious daughters, Hannah Williams, Nova, Aubrey and Julia Stogsdill, all of Nappanee; sister, Holly Stogsdill, of Colorado; two half-brothers, Travas and Derrick Stogsdill, of Texas; and stepbrother, Blake Burgess, of Texas.
Ben enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, fixing vehicles, and he was a talented welder. He had attained his associate degree in industrial safety and management from Ball State University.
Ben is remembered for his fun and witty nature, and his charismatic, loving and selfless personality. He often went out of his way to make those around him smile and laugh.
Ben was growing in his faith and devotion to Jesus Christ. His favorite Bible verse was Jeremiah 29:11, which says, “’For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”
Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services is entrusted with Ben’s funeral arrangements. Family and friends may gather at Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw, 2000 Sheridan St., from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, July 20. A Life Celebration® service will take place at 7 p.m. Burial will be held privately at Tippecanoe Cemetery.
