Judy Schmidt, 81, Plymouth, died Monday, July 10, 2023, at her daughter’s home.

She was born Dec. 19, 1941. On Sept. 30, 1961, she married John E. Schmidt, who preceded her in death in 2015.

She is survived by her daughters, Helen Schmidt, Argos, Rita (Fred) Lemert, Bourbon, Sharon Schmidt, South Bend, and Gerrie (Duwayne) Kirchoff, Plymouth; sons, John W. (Loretta) Schmidt, Plymouth, and James R. (April) Schmidt, Warsaw; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Dick) Jordan, Colorado; and son-in-law, Wayne Pete, Florida.

Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth, is handling arrangements.
