S&T Investment Group Purchases Old Peabody Building
News Release
NORTH MANCHESTER — Milford-based S&T Investment Group has purchased the historic 88,700 square feet building in North Manchester. The building was previously home to Tri-Lakes Container and Sun Metal Products.
S&T Investment Group is a brainchild between Joe Sands and Christian Tucker.
Sands and his wife Myra owned Sands Office Equipment, Warsaw, and met Tucker through a Facebook ad featuring items he was selling. From there, the businesses developed a relationships. When it came time for the Sands to sell their business and retire, they went into business with Tucker.
Tucker and his wife Megan, realized their business, which handles industrial resale of supplies ranging from earplugs to electric motors on eBay, needed more space. It was Sands who had an idea for them to work together.
They also found out that Sands’ farm in Milford lined up with Tucker’s grandfather’s, making it an instant connection.
The pair found their building on the corner of Fourth Street and Strauss-Provimi Road in North Manchester. Sands and Tucker have their work cut out for them. They are in the process of renovating the building, including new bathrooms, wiring, new outside doors, and an entirely new roof.
S&T Investment Group has already found three tenants, who are unnamed at this time.
With the new location they will be teaming with Metzger Auction to host monthly auctions for other stuff.
