UPDATE: Wabash County Child Safely Located In Cornfield

WABASH — After a three-hour search, three-year-old Evelyn P. Clark, Wabash, was safely located in a cornfield in Wabash County.
A Statewide Silver Alert was declared for Clark around 3 p.m. Monday, July 24.
According to a press release from the Indiana State Police, at 12:10 p.m. July 24, emergency personnel responded to the area of CR 200N and CR 100W in Wabash for a missing child report.
After a search using an ISP helicopter, several K9 units, an unmanned aerial vehicle, and several ground units, Clark was located. She was treated at the scene and released to the family.
Responding agencies include the ISP Peru Post, Wabash County Sheriff’s Office, Wabash City Police Department, La Fontaine Town Marshal, Wabash City Fire Department, Wabash City EMS, multiple volunteer fire departments, Indiana Conservation, Roann Town Marshal, Duke Energy, Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Wabash County Courthouse, and several community members.
