Dubois Named Goshen Interim GCS Superintendent
News Release
GOSHEN — The Goshen school board has named James Dubois as the interim superintendent during a special meeting Thursday, July 27.
Dubois is the former superintendent of Baugo Community Schools; he retired in 2019. He served as superintendent for almost a decade. Before that, Dubois worked as an elementary school principal in the Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation.
Upon his retirement, Dubois worked as Director of Educational Partnerships at Horizon Education Alliance and founded Craftsman Mindset Enterprises LLC.
Dubois’ contract allows extensions, but is currently set to run through the end of the first semester of the 2023-24 academic school year. The board agreed if no long-term superintendent had been selected by December, Dubois’ contract may extend. Dubois will work as an hourly employee, not a salaried one. He is maxed at 40 hours as an independent contractor.
