Milford Public Library — Wraps Up Summer Reading Program

MILFORD — Milford Public Library’s summer reading program was a huge success with 180 children and teens registered. Participants enjoyed several family programs, weekly packets, containing crafts, snacks and games pertaining to this year’s theme, “All Together Now.” Thanks to all the families who participated and to the many community sponsors which donated money and prizes, without which the library could not offer such a fun-filled program for the community’s children.
School is just around the corner. Make sure your student has a library card before heading back to school. The library offers a wide selection of books, fiction and non fiction ones that students can explore and learn from to enhance their school experience. The library recently updated its children’s collection of books about countries of the world, illustrating with colorful photos and information the diverse lands animals and cultures of many countries beyond the U.S.
