Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 11:50 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, East U.S. 30, east of South CR 900E, Pierceton. Driver: Larry A. Eckert, 71, Stults Road, Huntington; and Unknown. Eckert said an unknown vehicle sideswiped his and left the scene. Damage up to $5,000.
• 11:37 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, West Crystal Lake Road, east of North Leiby Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Michael T. Muse, 28, East Market Street, Warsaw. Muse avoided a collision with a deer. His vehicle left the roadway and hit a pole. Muse had minor bleeding on his arm, but didn’t request medical attention. Damage up to $10,000.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 5:26 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, North Parker Street, north of US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Nathaniel R. Taylor, 20, West Wiley Avenue, Bluffton; and Kayle N. Long, 20, North CR 350W, Warsaw. Taylor wasn’t paying attention. His vehicle hit Long’s. Damage up to $5,000.
• 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, 3308 E. Center St., Warsaw. Drivers: Taylor M. Patrick, 24, East Pine Drive, Warsaw; and Susan E. Sorg Lance, 70, South Elaine Drive, Warsaw. Patrick backed into Sorg Lance’s vehicle. Patrick was cited for operating without insurance. Damage up to $1,000.
