WARSAW — A Warsaw woman was recently arrested for allegedly making sexual gestures in front of children.
Lara Jane Santoyo-Hernandez, 38, 929 N. Old Orchard Drive, Warsaw, is charged with vicarious sexual gratification, a level 6 felony; and public indecency, a class A misdemeanor.
On April 20, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a location in Warsaw regarding a woman dancing on a balcony in a sexually aroused manner while wearing diaphanous clothing. The woman was identified as Santoyo-Hernandez.
According to court documents, a neighbor said three children saw Santoyo-Hernandez’s provocative dance. He said Santoyo-Hernandez’s genitals were exposed and that she used obscene language and gestures. The neighbor showed the deputy a video of the incident.
A child also said Santoyo-Hernandez made a sexual gesture toward them.
Santoyo-Hernandez said she was dancing on a balcony but was wearing a bodysuit that covered her completely. She denied making any sexual gestures but admitted to using obscene language toward her neighbors.
Santoyo-Hernandez was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Aug. 10, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
