WINONA LAKE — Canal Days is set for Saturday, Aug. 26, in Winona Lake.

The Village at Winona event, which includes the seventh annual cardboard boat regatta, is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It’s meant to draw awareness to local nonprofit organization Fellowship Missions and raise money for the entity.

People may sign up by Friday, Aug. 25, to enter a boat by clicking here.

Rules for the regatta may be found by clicking here. All team members must also fill out waivers, which may be found here, and drop them off the day of the event.

Saturday, there will also be arts and crafts vendors and kids’ activities provided by Spoonful of Imagination. People can also vote for the “Best in Show” boat.

The schedule for the day is as follows: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., arts and crafts booths; 10-11 a.m., boat regatta registration; 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., cardboard boat “Best in Show” voting; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., kids’ activities; and 12:30 p.m., the regatta boat race.
