Dorothy L. Alger, 97, rural North Manchester, died at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, at home.

She was born Dec. 3, 1945. On June 12, 1947, she married Ogden H. Alger, who preceded her in death in 2015.

She is survived by two children, Brad (Angie) Alger, Leo-Cedarville, and Beth (Jeff) Pyle, North Manchester; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Miller, North Manchester, and Joan Harris, Fulton.
