Stouder Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Vehicle

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested for allegedly selling a vehicle which did not belong to him.
Robert Allen Stouder, 43, Warsaw, is charged with theft, a level 6 felony.
On Aug. 2, 2021, a Warsaw Police officer responded to an auto theft report. An individual said she saw a woman’s 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix being loaded onto a flat bed truck.
According to court documents, a man said he was contacted by Stouder, who asked him if he would like to buy a vehicle for $150 as scrap. Stouder said he did not have the vehicle’s title but that the vehicle was registered in his name.
The woman said Stouder did not have permission to sell her Pontiac Grand Prix for scrap.
At the time of this incident, Stouder was out on bond for intimidation with a deadly weapon in Kosciusko County. He also has a prior theft conviction.
Stouder was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Aug. 15, 2023, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
