Kimberly B. Morgan — UPDATED
Kimberly B. Morgan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home in Syracuse on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023, at the age of 71. She was born Kimberly Bissinger on July 23, 1952, in Goshen, the daughter of Carl and Virginia Bissinger (Kurtz). On Sept. 25, 2010, she married Brian H. Morgan. The two have shared many memories together over the last several years.
For over 25 years, Kim dedicated herself to her career as a press operator for Chore Time Brock. She was a caring and giving person who touched the lives of many. She loved sharing food from her garden and candy with her co-workers.
In addition to gardening, Kim enjoyed quilting blankets and crocheting. She also loved to play card games, especially euchre. Her true joy in life was her animals. She had many cats and dogs in her life and adored them all without exception.
Kim will be fondly remembered for her outgoing personality and bubbly demeanor. She had an infectious positive outlook that uplifted those around her. Her kind spirit knew no boundaries as she radiated warmth wherever she went. Kim had a good sense of humor that never failed to bring smiles and laughter to those fortunate enough to know her.
Family was paramount in Kim’s life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her proudest accomplishments were being a loving grandma and great-grandma. The joy she felt when surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was immeasurable.
In addition to her husband, Kim leaves behind her children, Jeff (Nicole) Leveriner, Brandy (Jim) Coons and Heather Hamstra; stepchildren, Christopher (Jackie) Morgan and Steven Morgan; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister, Stacia (Kent) Bakersville; and brother, Kevin Bissinger. She was preceded in passing by her parents; and brother, Steven Bissinger.
Titus Funeral Home of Syracuse is entrusted with the care of Kim. Friends may join her family there, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, from 1-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, for visitation. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28, with the doors opening an hour prior.
She will be laid to rest at Milford Cemetery.
