Emmy-Winning Filmmaker To Screen Documentary At Manchester University

NORTH MANCHESTER — Manchester University will host a screening of the documentary “After Zero Tolerance” and a conversation with its Emmy-winning director, Oscar Guerra, as part of the University’s Values, Ideas and the Arts series.
The screening is 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25 in Cordier Auditorium on the North Manchester campus. It is free and open to the public.
Guerra is a director, researcher and an associate professor of film and video at the University of Connecticut. His documentary “Love, Life & the Virus” received the award for Best Story in a News Magazine at the 42nd News Emmy Awards.
“After Zero Tolerance” tells the story of a Honduran family’s struggle to reunite after being separated at the U.S.-Mexico border as a result of Trump administration immigration policies.
Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with Guerra.
