BREMEN — During the Sept. 8 through 10 weekend, the Indiana State Police Bremen Post and ISP Toll Road Post conducted saturation patrols across their respective districts with a focus on traffic safety.

These targeted patrols ran from 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, to 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9; and from 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, to 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 10. Troopers worked on days off and moved their shifts to have an increased number of troopers working during the targeted patrol times.

Statistics from the Bremen Post:

• 333 traffic stops
• 10 arrests for operating while intoxicated
• two warrant arrests
• two arrests for possession of marijuana
• one arrest for habitual traffic violator
• one arrest for possession of cocaine
• one arrest for possessing/dealing methamphetamine
• one arrest for an operator never receiving a license
• 11 violations with charges to be filed at a later date
• one police car damaged by someone resisting arrest

Statistics from the Toll Road Post:

• 299 traffic stops
• 10 arrests for operating while intoxicated
• three arrests for possession of marijuana
• one arrest for possession of methamphetamine
• one arrest for possession of cocaine
• one arrest for reckless driving (104 mph in a 30 mph zone)
• one arrest for driving while suspended prior
• six violations with charges to be filed at a later date
• one OWI arrest from a citizen calling in with a detailed description of the vehicle and location
