Bernard Dale Campbell, 78, died at 2:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born Aug. 27, 1945. On Sept. 2, 1967, he married Betty June Poynter, who preceded him in death in 2008.

He is survived by four children, Laura (Daniel) Crawford, Granger, Todd (Debra) Campbell, Knoxville, Tenn., Kimberly (Doug) Hayes, Syracuse, and Melissa (Byron) Naff, Elkhart; his brother, Hovie Campbell, Homosassa, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville, is handling arrangements.
