Parent Company Of Indiana Casinos Reports Data Breach

INDIANAPOLIS — Tens of millions of customers could be affected by a data breach that targeted Nevada-based Caesars Entertainment, which owns several casinos in Indiana.
The company reported a Sept. 7 cyberattack to the federal Securities and Exchange Commission that it said could have accessed sensitive customer information such as Social Security and driver’s license numbers, the Associated Press reported.
In Indiana, Caesars operates Horseshoe Indianapolis in Shelbyville, Caesars Southern Indiana in Harrison County, Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Anderson and Horseshoe Hammond Casino.
