Lutheran To Host Discussion On ADHD Thursday

WARSAW — Lutheran Health Network is hosting a discussion on attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder on Thursday, Sept. 21.
Join Dr. Alexandru Tanase for a talk about moving from stigma to appreciation of a person’s true potential from 8:30-9:30 a.m. or 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday. The presentations will occur in Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital’s administrative classroom located at 2101 E. Dubois Drive, Warsaw.
Attention-deficit hyperactivity variation manifests in childhood with symptoms of hyperactivity, impulsivity and/or inattention. The symptoms affect cognitive, academic, behavioral, emotional and social functioning.
Tanase is a board-certified pediatrician who specializes in diagnosing and caring for children with ADHD, asthma or autism. He is certified by Vanderbilt University to utilize the Screening Tool for Autism in Toddlers and Young Children (STAT-MD™).
