Atwood Otterbein Church To Have Community Chili Cookoff Oct. 7

ATWOOD — Atwood Otterbein Church will be hosting a community Chili Cookoff from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, in the church’s Fellowship Hall. The church is located at 306 E. Main in Atwood. All are welcome to join the fun and fellowship.
Cost is $5 for a bottomless bowl and drinks will be provided. Hotdogs will also be available for $1. Prizes will be awarded for Firehouse Chili (hottest), Valentines’ Chili (sweetest), Adventurer’s Chili (most unique) and Best Overall (simply your fav).
Entrants are asked to bring their pot full of Chili to Fellowship Hall by 3 p.m. ready to serve. The church’s women’s group, Sisterhood in Faith, will also have a fundraising bake sale available for desserts. Sisterhood in Faith supports local Christian non profits with donations and volunteerism.
