ELKHART COUNTY — Understanding what is in food and beverages we may consume can help us make healthier decisions. However, sometimes food labels can be misleading and difficult to comprehend. Learn how to identify the primary components of food labels, decipher marketing claims, and make informed food decisions.
Join Purdue Extension for a free educational program presented by Emily Christ, Purdue University Extension Educator in Health & Human Sciences in Elkhart County. This program is being offered at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Nappanee Public Library, 157 N. Main St.
