Parkview Warsaw YMCA To Host Free Community Wellness Fair Oct. 7
News Release
WARSAW — The Parkview Warsaw YMCA is hosting the Kosciusko Community Wellness Fair on Saturday, Oct. 7.
The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will provide community members with free head-to-toe health screenings from local health care providers. Other services offered include area providers speaking on popular health topics, flu shots, blood donation, kids activities and more.
“Part of our mission is to help people lead healthier lives. We’re excited to offer free services that will allow the attendees to prioritize their physical health,” said Jim Swanson, chief executive officer of Kosciusko Community YMCA. “We’d like to thank the K21 Health Foundation and Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce for sponsoring this event and contributing to the overall health of our community.”
You must be 18 or older to receive any assessments at the event, and mammograms require preregistration. If you would like to register for an A1C screening, please reserve a time slot via the YMCA’s Calendly site, but walk-ins are welcome. To register for a mammogram, call (260) 266-7570.
