James A. “Shoe” Reid, 64, Star City, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, at Hickory Creek, Winamac.

He was born Feb. 9, 1959.

He is survived by his sisters, Diana (Dean) Thomas, Winamac, and Linda Cowles, Winamac; brothers, Michael Reid, Star City, Donald E. (Connie) Reid, Star City, and David (Missy) Reid, Star City; 10 nieces and nephews and their families; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and companion, Connie Denny, Star City.
